DUN N31 Subang Jaya covers the following areas:

The state constituency is within the Kelana Jaya parliamentary constituency, and is one of four state constituencies locally administered by Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (MPSJ). The other state constituencies within MPSJ are Kinrara, Seri Serdang and Seri Kembangan.
